Our Pastor

Pastor Rick Owens became the senior pastor of the Pine Bluff Baptist Church of Albany, GA, in October 2024. He was saved as a fifth-grader while attending Camp Chetek in Chetek, WI, and was baptized soon after. He attended West Coast Baptist College in 1998 and graduated in 2001. The Lord led him to serve in local churches in Boron, CA, and Clovis, CA, and then to start the Victory Baptist Church in Fresno, CA, where he and his family served for over ten years.

After a four-year ministry in MO, the Owens family accepted the call to come to PBBC. Pastor Owens has a strong desire for souls to be saved and discipled, and for the church to continue with a revival spirit.

Rick and Sommer were married in 2001 and have four children, Tyler, Alex, Wesley, and Avery Grace.
