Dear P.B.B.C. Family:

Another exciting and busy day completed in the Holy Land, and what a thrilling day it was…

The morning began with quite an adventure, Kim and I had our first ever camel ride!! Gotta say… Thank God for horses!!

Our last day in Jerusalem covered the last six days of Christ’s ministry on earth. We began early in the morning on the Mount of Olives, overlooking the Garden of Gethsemane and the path that Christ trod to Pilate’s hall. How comforting (and convicting) visiting the garden. We are reminded of Christ love for His people as He wept for them in the garden. Then we are convicted, when we realized see our own lack of commitment demonstrated by the disciples in his admonition to them that they “could not watch with him one hour in the garden”. Before we condemn them for falling asleep at such a critical moment, how spiritually “asleep” are we, in the crucial moments before His return.

After visiting the garden, we journeyed on to the “place of the skull” where Christ was crucified and the tomb where it is believed he was buried. Viewing the sights in this garden reminds us of both the grief and Glory that these sites beheld. His grief on the cross, does not “compare to the glory” that he exhibits as He reigns on High… and forevermore will reign!! GLORY!! Our heart was thrilled as we sat outside the EMPTY tomb and heard Dr. Johnny Pope preach on the “Gardens of God”!

Tonight we reached our hotel at the southern end of the Dead Sea, which is representative of how we physically feel—dead tired!! We have the morning off tomorrow and will not leave until 8:00 a.m.!! Much more to tell, but space is short.

Thanks so much for your prayers!!

Serving Him… & loving it,

Bro. Keith
